The King of Darkness has awakened after being sealed for three hundred and sixty-six years. In the Spanish Colonial era, he sought to impose his dominion over every island of Las Islas Filipinas, spreading fear and violence across the human world.

The aswang are the most dreaded creatures among the natives, their lore handed down through each generation. Yet Mariana-a young woman from a wealthy and devout family has inherited a power from her ancestors-a force capable of standing against the encroaching darkness. She will confront these monsters while wrestling with the fear that courses through her very soul.

Therefore, beneath the full moon, a tender romance begins to stir, even as the red sky casts its shadow over a world drenched in blood and chaos wrought by the monsters.
