Gael and Via went way back to law school. They had a thing, a spark they never fully named, and Roman was right in the middle of it. The three of them were tangled in ways they never figured out.
Pero nang pumanaw si Roman, sinisi nila ang isa't isa bukod sa mga sarili nila. Magkaibang landas ang kanilang mga tinahak. They were not exactly friends now but something between them never fully faded.
"You're exactly the kind of lawyer I thought you'd never be," Gael told Via.
"And you're exactly the kind of prosecutor I thought you'd never be," Via fired back.
