the hypothesis of love

This is a novel about Yu Jimin, a graduate student in Biology, who pretends to date the renowned and feared professor Kim Minjeong. The fake relationship begins when, in a panic, Jimin kisses the first person she sees to prove to her friend that she's happy, and that woman turns out to be Minjeong. For her own benefit, Minjeong agrees to maintain the charade, and the story explores the dynamic between them, culminating in a genuine relationship, while addressing themes such as harassment and sexism in academia.
