She believed in love...believed in fate...
And when she met him-the man who felt carved perfectly for her-an arranged marriage suddenly turned into the sweetest beginning she never expected.
Everything felt like a dream...
Until the dream cracked.
One week before the wedding, she stumbles upon a truth-dark enough to shatter every feeling she ever held for him. The man she loved. The man she trusted. And she decides to leave.
But leaving him?
The man who has already decided she's his?
It was never going to be that simple.
And-"the vows...made under the shadows of reality."
-------------------------------------------------
Glimpse:
"Y...you...h...how c...can...", her voice trembling, unable to believe what she just saw, she turns to leave....or run.
He froze "WAIT", his voice cold, she froze completely at her place,
she had never heard his voice this cold, with such lack of warmth, it was like-it wasn't even him.
And it wasn't.
He walks towards her, she wanted to leave, to run but just couldn't move, out of fear? or maybe shock.
He stood right in front of her, she looks up at him "y...you...-" , he says with that cold voice that sent shivers down her spine "yes me...".
A tear roll down her cheeks without her knowing. He caught the tear with his thumb, his action softer as compared to what she just saw him do, "Don't...don't cry...you know I can't see you cry" his voice soft, but there was an underlying threat, a coldness in that voice.
Dedication-
For the ones who who became someone's home, even when they felt lost themselves- and for the love that made them stay, even when leaving felt easier.
