The Tenets of the Familiar go as follows:

Ye will always protect the Witch til ye land upon the gates to the Springlands.
In a time where witches are burned, and anything magical is purged by the Order of Eonar, was a quaint little village where a witch named Seren lived in disguise. After she was discovered and murdered, her familiar is forced to accept her death and try to move on with life, despite his failure haunting him at every turn.
Within these pages I share with you the journey this one little familiar took in attempt to redeem himself. Will he perish like Seren at the hands of some Human, or worse? Or will he finally be able to live with himself by the end?

Will he be able to avoid Serehm? Or will Serehm finally get his revenge? Syphon is on the run, escaping the wrath of Serehm by leaving the island he grew up in. But it's not only to save himself, it's because he needed to train and improve his magic and take revenge on Serehm and his family for taking the lives of many of their villagers, especially his father. To do that, he will have to look for an Oppetaja, a teacher that will train him to improve his magic. But how can he train when Serehm is coming for him? And now that he and Mervina have been seen by many, it's only a matter of time before Serehm finds him. Wild Witches
The year is 1914, the border between magical creatures and the humans is clearly defined. But unknown to many minds, the ministry of magic has another thorn in their flesh, the so-called wild witches. Descendants of old blood lines, believers in ancient rituals, never frightened in the dark woods, because deep within the forest the most terrifying thing was a wild witch with a wicked filled mind. Many wizards believed that they were part of cults, giving the devils their souls and slaughtering animals and muggles for sacrifices. Lucky for them, those transferences weren't all too real. Wild witches weren't burned anymore in Salem, they didn't sacrifice a life just to satisfy the needs of ambiguous gods and devils, they weren't evil. Not unless you awakened their rage... However, when influential men started growing their fear of peaceful witches, the burden of certain consequences would follow. 1914 the Ministry of Magic decided to enforce the rule that all witches and wizards must go to schools and can no longer be taught at home, like wild witches were. There was a Spirit. A Spirit Wolf to be exact. She had fluffy white fur, and some parts as inside her ears, her paws, and her eyes glowed.This particular Spirit preferred to be alone. She did not like company. Only 2 years ago a raven wouldn't stop bothering her. Surprisingly, this bird became her beloved companion. He helps her with her job as a spirit-and distracts her at times. The Spirit Wolf's job is to bring life and to pass life. Bringing life is to help plants grow and to watch over all of the new mothers in spring. To pass life means to let a corpse sink into the ground and become one with earth itself. If the creature that passed had a good life, the Spirit would put them into the afterlife. If they died a very unfair death or was too young for their life to be over, she would help them reincarnate. She could not reincarnate a creature every time it was killed, though. It would only make them have infinite lives. The Spirit Wolf seemed unhappy when she did her job, but she enjoyed seeing the faces of pure happiness of the new mothers. To summarize her duty, she needs to keep the law of nature in order. Even though she despises humans, she helps them too.Complete

I wrote this when I was like 15 so it's awful and horribly inaccurate regarding lots of stuff and the characters are really, really annoying. If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it. PLEASE, if you want something with better writing and still full of angst, look at my other fics instead (Tempest is my fav) // Harry is upset, he just wants someone to care about him but he keeps pushing everyone away.
