K-Pop May Cry

A young boy from the United States moves to South Korea to have a different start befriends a slightly older girl who would grow to become a loved and legendary K-Pop idol while he was in the shadows as her closest friends and her crush until one day where something within him awakens and he learns or rather remembers something that turns him from a mere nobody into perhaps humanity's last hope.
