The town of Hawkins is only a tale to keep kids away. A mere myth that has been passed down through generations. In 2025, there is nothing left but destroyed streets, buildings, and stories. Skeletons of what was, and what happened. For one aimless, hopeless, and lonely twenty-something year old, Hawkins is a place of solace and sonder. A place where she hopes to find the 'thing' she never had through lonely evenings sifting through abandoned photographs, yearbooks, News clippings and distorted radio transmissions from the 1980s. Mythic voices echo through the static of kids who supposedly fought monsters, saved each other, and vanished by the fickle entities that is time and rumors.

An anomaly. A glitch disguised as a girl, unintentionally rewriting Hawkins with every chaotic breath. An astrophysical blip of energy that lands her in a triangle far worse than the bermuda. Vecna's influence tightens around the town, the Upside Down reacts to her like a foreign threat. Time stutters. Fate hesitates.

She never asked to be here.
She may not survive being here.
But if she can't figure out what she is, or what the universe wants from her-
