Charlotte Garrison has just started her first year of college and is ready to leave her high school life behind. The bullies, the perverted teachers, and not to mention that one accident involving a trip down the bleachers.

Living on her own in an apartment off campus, she discovers that the person living right across from her in the building is none other than her high school's bad boy Seth Carter. Tall, good-looking, smart, and with a smile that could make all the girls in school fall to his knees; what more can a girl want from her neighbour? Oh right, he broke her heart in high school.

Charlotte then finds out that Seth's also the prodigious student of her father, a renowned photographer who travels around the world and never stays at home for more than two weeks, who she learns has come back home only to teach her bad boy neighbour.

Now, Charlotte must start college afresh with the two men she had wanted so much to forget about back in her life.
