Eleanor Lovlock is your average fifteen year old girl. She goes to school, comes home to work with her dad who's a fisherman. She has two best friends, Aaron and Caleb. It's all very ordinary, until it's not.

At eight years old, Eleanor lost her mom in a house fire. Since then she has been closer than ever with her dad, but that has come with him being overprotective. Eleanor riddled with guilt, has PTSD, and a need for control always struggles to find her path in life.

What will happen when she finds out the same fire that changed her life, is about to change it once again?

One fateful night, she sleeps but is awoken by the fire alarms blarring through the house. Startled, she climbs from her bed but is stuck in her room. Firefighters find her, but here comes the news:

"She's glowing..."

" She's fine. "

"How can you say that, she's...on fire"

"She's doing what she was meant to. Back up"
