The Wingless Dragon [Cregan x OC]

Rhaeya Targaryen was born into a court where every smile is a weapon and every promise hides a blade. As the youngest daughter of King Viserys and Queen Alicent, she grows up walking a tightrope between warring loyalties, devoted to her family, yet unwilling to choose a side in a conflict she wants no part of.

She shares a rare and unbreakable bond with her eldest brother, Aegon; treads carefully around Aemond's sharpened shadows; and clings to the fleeting sweetness of Helaena's prophecies. Beyond the Red Keep's walls, a forbidden friendship with Jaecerys Velaryon sparks questions of loyalty her court would never forgive, while Ser Gwayne Hightower becomes the unlikely anchor she never expected.

But war is coming. Dragons are stirring. And neutrality is a luxury no Targaryen can keep. As Rhaeya is drawn deeper into the storm between Greens and Blacks, the game around her shifts, quietly and dangerously. What begins as a struggle to protect the peace becomes a fight for her own freedom, her own identity, and her own heart.

And when her path carries her north with Jaecerys Velaryon, to a land of wolves, winter, and the solemn honour of Cregan Stark, Rhaeya begins to discover that survival in this war may require choosing not a side...

...but herself.

** I do not own any character besides Rhaeyna Targaryen based on the worldbuilding and characters surrounding the series House of the Dragon/A Song of Fire and Ice/Game of Thrones, which remains in the rights and ownership of G.R.R. Martin. **
