Narrative is almost all from the brilliant mind of Mazer Green. (also the year is 2036, so we're talking the slight future, unless it's past then now, in which case the slight past. Jeez Ed you could've probably left all this bit out.)

The aliens pity these "little creatures"-they just don't want to leave their home, but Earth is falling apart at the seams, and they are determined to take the stubborn little humans to the safety of one of the mother planets.
