It's slim pickings for the Survey Corps. With only minors graduating the military nowadays, commander Erwin is looking for people with more experience. People with more tactical and strategical insight. And he knows just who to ask for this fresh blood.
Captain Levi needs to reconnect with someone he knew a long time ago. Someone from his underground days. Someone who's name is feared amongst thugs in the underground. Someone he thought he'd never see again.
Can he convince this mysterious assassin to join them in their fight against the titans? Can they overcome their past? And most importantly, can the immense secret she keeps from everyone stay hidden from the one person she wants least to find out about it?
In this story, weaving through current times and their past, we learn more about their bond, the struggles that happened and the reasons they grew apart. All whilst trying to figure out ourselves about this mysterious ability she's kept hidden from the world.
This story mainly follows canon, though of course there are some changes to keep the plot interesting.
