Jungkook's life is fine.
Totally fine.
Okay, maybe he still has nightmares about his high school almost-relationship with Jimin - the one that ended with:
• one lie,
• one broken promise,
• and Jungkook emotionally dying inside like a dramatic Victorian child.

But whatever.
He's moved on.
(He has not.)

Now he works at his family's hockey sponsor company, suffers in silence, drinks iced coffee at 7AM like a depressed raccoon, and avoids emotional intimacy like it's tax fraud.

Life is stable.

Until Jimin walks back in.

Not just back into Korea.
Back into his company.
Back into his daily schedule.
Back into Jungkook's already-damaged nervous system.

Jimin is now a star player.
Charming. Talented. Annoyingly hot.
And acting like nothing ever happened.

Meanwhile Jungkook is one minor inconvenience away from throwing himself into a trash can.

Their meetings are disasters.
Their teamwork is worse.
And the tension between them is so thick Jungkook could choke on it (and honestly, same).

But behind Jimin's cold smiles, something doesn't add up.
Behind Jungkook's sarcasm, something's still bleeding.

"Your cold hands on my skin felt like a burning frost," Jimin once said.

Jimin's cold heart felt like frostbite - and he's absolutely not over it.

Now these two idiots have to face each other, their past, their trauma, and their extremely inconvenient feelings...
