Harry finds himself in a bit of a pickle, first a minor mishap, then a full-blown freak-out, all tangled up in a bewildering tête-à-tête with the Sorting Hat, who seems to have some very particular plans for both him and Professor Snape. A (sort of) Christmas tale, this story centres around Harry's heartfelt wish for a magical, trouble-free holiday... though nothing in his life is ever quite that simple.

Lmao, guys, this is kinda cringe. It's been lurking in my drafts for months, and with Christmas around the corner, I thought, why not self-sabotage and publicly humiliate myself a bit.
