On the 13th September 2025, the luxury cruise liner Vinland Majesty with five thousand passengers and crew slipped twenty million years back in time to the Miocene.

The engines, which provide all the ship's electricity, only have fuel for a couple of weeks after which the water purification systems will no longer work.
