Will has been a full-fledged Ranger for some time now. He lives on his own, and everything seems fine. Or so it seems.
Day by day, the young Ranger grows more exhausted. Everyone around him dismisses it as overwork and lack of sleep - everyone except Will.
He insists on one thing: someone is watching him.
He feels threatened. His unease turns into growing paranoia.
But is something truly wrong... or is his mind beginning to slip?
Is there really someone out there - or is his mental health slowly falling apart?
Will he find support among the people closest to him, or will he be forced to face it all alone?
For the purpose of this story, all characters live in the same town.
As always, I do not own Ranger's Apprentice or any characters created by John Flanagan. This is only a fanfiction - my own interpretation and exploration of the world.
