Percy Jackson had been friends with Claude Polarus since the beginnings of his time moving from school to school. Raised by a mother who was a successful businesswoman, Claude was sent to preparatory schools due to the lack of availability in his mother's schedule. And when the divine world found Percy, it also found Claude.

As the son of Zeus, Claude was there at every moment. From the moment they breached Camp Half-Blood to when they defended Manhattan against the forces of Kronos, their backs against each other as they fought in harmony and sync. Storm and sea against the world. But Claude's friendship and willingness to protect Percy grew into something more.

Now, the Giant War has ended, as well as the events of Apollo/Lester. Claude and Percy, boyfriends of 2 years, are spending their last summer in Camp Half-Blood before they go off to college, Claude to Westpoint, and Percy to New Rome... or so they thought. When a dangerous quest arises where Claude must handle ancient power that had been locked up by his father, he, and Percy, must answer the call.
