This is a Gachapun (Gigi x Finn) story. Though it's rather an adventurous story with fantasy. If you don't like this ship, please don't read this book, because it still has some romantic scenes between the two.
Gigi, a poor land-dweller who does treasure hunts everyday to get some money, gets unexpected attention from someone underwater: A MER-TOON! A prince, to be exact; Finn! It's unknown why Finn went to land, but the fact he's smitten with Gigi keeps him on dry land... so she's gotta deal with him.
But when a supposedly gone disease reappears after a century (when it was expected to be gone forever), Gigi is forced to watch her fellow Toons and friends turn into monsters as she travels through a dense forest on a large Island with Brightney and Finn, where they need to get to a witch which might be able to make a cure. However, the forest is not completely safe.
Will they save the world or shall the disease have the world in its very palm?
DISCLAIMER: This story is NOT 18+, but it's NOT advised to read this book if you can't handle themes like this or if you're too young! (I advise you to at least be 13+ because this story can contain REALLY dirty scenes. Pets were the lowest rank you could have. They were forced into cages that were too small to stand in with collars around their necks. They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved. Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world. Born into this world full of blood-sucking monsters. Except, I was one of the lucky ones. Was.
