After the fall of Ba Sing Se, Lierie awakens far from the life she once knew-cradled in living fire that does not burn her, but welcomes her like a forgotten truth. Hidden deep within Fire Nation territory, she learns that she survived the crystal catacombs because something ancient has awakened within her, a power tied to fire, memory, and identity.

Erased from the memories of those she loved, Lierie is forced into the shadows, guided only by her aunt Huo Yan and a growing sense of duty she can no longer ignore. As she journeys across the Fire Nation and beyond, she encounters powerful allies, dangerous truths, and fragments of a heritage long buried-each revelation drawing her closer to the source of the fire that chose her.

Meanwhile, Zuko stands at Azula's side, haunted by an absence he cannot name. Though he cannot remember Lierie, echoes of her linger-unexplained pain, fractured visions, instincts that pull him toward choices he does not understand.
