For fourteen years, she was the friend who knew every secret, every heartbreak, every version of me I became. We shared inside jokes, childhood dreams, and memories that feel stitched into your skin. She cried easily, hugged tightly, and apologized even when she didn't mean it.

She was the girl who always needed saving.
She was also the one who kept hurting me.

Every time she crossed a line, tried to one-up me, betrayed a confidence, or left me feeling small, she turned it back on me. Somehow, she was the one who got wounded, and I was the one who had to fix it. She clung to guilt like a lifeline, pulling me back every time I tried to walk away. I stayed, convinced I was the bad friend for not loving her enough.

Fourteen years of laughter, loyalty... and quiet damage.
Fourteen years of believing that pain was part of love.
Fourteen years of learning what friendship really is-
and what it should never be.

This is the story of a friendship that looked like love, felt like loyalty, and slowly, painfully revealed itself as a Paper-Cut Friendship.

"You made me wait 17 minutes, kidoo" A voice whispered in his ears. Ansh almost screamed but Nirbhay's palm closed around his mouth before any sound could slip. Ansh's heart thudded in his chest. His Bahiyu had almost given him a heart attack. Nirabhay grabbed the basket and slipped inside with Ansh, and shut the door behind him.
