Year 2034, 9th day of the 5th month. Aerial forces from Korea and Japan
have advanced towards the Southern European Fleet. Multiple battleships
sighted. 600 airships total. Reason for provocation remains unknown.
Reinforce defences. End report.
Report received. Terrell Reed, captain of the Invicto and commander of
Southern European fleet, defensive reinforcements commenced. Army
recruitment and training regarding possible threat initiating. End reply. I
hope these rookies can handle their first war.

Journal Entry: SB-0001 December 18th, 2031 It has been about five months since the attack, and our meager fleet of ships are clinging to life. It all started with an interstellar signal. Sometimes, superstition has it right. It might not have been wrong to compare that dreadful signal to the blaring of the trumpets signaling the end of times. By the time they arrived, they knew us as if they had been watching us all along. Their invasion was swift, precise, and purpose-driven, ruined only by our own short-sighted counterattack that delayed the inevitable. And, during that delay, a small fraction of humanity managed to escape into the stars. With our homeworld of Earth gone in the blink of an eye, we are now forced to survive on modified cruiseliner starships and cling to life as our pursuers relentlessly hound us, the varying perils of space claw at our very existence, and our own simmering tensions threaten to break into a roiling turmoil. However, if there is one thing that gives me hope as I write this journal entry, it is that humanity can accomplish even the seemingly impossible through cooperation and willpower. Less popular ones are table salt spills, stepping down with the left foot, crossing chopsticks... But what about crossing fleets? Detonation, sinking, water-bulging, capsizing, nose-diving, submarine-ing are the ways a warship can be forgotten into the depths of an ocean... It is the year 2273, the years of naval glory made its much-awaited appearance. Plasmatic converters slowly replaced unsafe nuclear reactors while CIWS were modified to be firing compressed lasers... Task Force Z, the Prime warship fleet that dominated the oceans, had three successive fleets, Task force 0, 1 and 2. The Z fleet was composed of three ships: HMS Reckless (Flagship), HMS Reverie (Deputy_Flagship), USS Cleveland (Defense_Main). It was a fleet no one dared to even spy upon. Nothing, not anything could even get close to it. Nothing, except the Singularity. I am trying my best to improve my writing skills, so feel free to point out some mistakes (grammar or coherence). Surviving Daions were absorbed harmoniously into Coalition populations. That's what Coalition history recorded. In reality plague survivors were abused, ostracized, and lately their descendants were disappearing - relatively unnoticed - from the sectors where they'd been assigned residence. Right now war is whispering through every sector as political tensions rise between Coalition's Central Worlds and the Isolated Radicals. Half the galaxy away, seeking resources under the lie of peaceful exploration, Dockland is the oldest scanner ship in the Coalition fleet and has the long abandoned Daion Central World listed as one of their possible next assignments. As leadership splinters into the highest ranks of the Coalition government, the events unfolding in the Daion sector have the potential to change the course set by history and possibly restore what was written off as a lost culture ... or see Dockland and its crew erased from having ever existed at all.
