Rose Leclerc, daughter of Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Melux, is in her final year of high school. Ever since she was a child, her life has revolved around engines, speed, and the smell of kart tires burning on asphalt. Determined, sharp-tongued, and fiercely competitive, Rose has been racing karts for as long as she can remember, carving out a name for herself on the junior circuits.

Thomas Norris, son of Lando Norris and Magui Corceiro, is also a senior in high school-and just as passionate about karting. With his effortless charm, mischievous grin, and an ego as quick as his reflexes, Thomas has grown up under the spotlight, used to winning both races and arguments.

Since the day they first met in high school, Rose and Thomas have despised each other. He teases her; she fires back twice as hard. They're both stubborn, both proud, and both absolutely convinced the other one is insufferable. Their rivalry is legendary-teachers know it, classmates bet on it, and the paddock whispers about the explosive tension between the two prodigy drivers.

But everything changes when they're selected to represent their teams in an international karting competition abroad. Forced to travel together, they find themselves stuck in the same hotel for four long days... and as fate would have it, their rooms are directly across the hallway.
