Before Ice Freezes.

Sara Hanh, a twenty-four year old with an amazing, overprotective family. Her whole life was dedicated to swimming. From the very first time she stepped into the swimming pool at 6 years old to now - it changed the whole course of her life, like it was always written in her destiny. She didn't love the publicity, her only goal was reaching for the stars - pushing herself, breaking her own records, getting faster. Her cold, detached demeanor only added to the stubbornness, which destroyed any relationships in her path.

Amelia Thorne - a single mother of a 6 year old at twenty-six. Running from Canada to get away from her issues with her twin brother Aaron - she worked a low-key job at a cafe. Hours were terrible sometimes, especially around Christmas, but she was happier than in Canada. Happier than ever, one might say. Her only goal was to out-run something inevitable. Deadly. Her once warm and loving nature, now made protective and serious to outsiders.

What happens when the their worlds collide in a way that knocks the air out of their already cracked lungs? Will they accept the responsibilities and trauma responses or will they burn the world down as the universe seemingly throws them in each other's path?
