Hiraya lives two radically different lives, both conducted on a schedule no human was meant to keep.

By day, she is a model employee at "Call Connect Global," navigating the endless, soul-crushing stream of customer complaints, technical glitches, and aggressive technical issues. Her cubicle is her sanctuary and her cage, lit by the sterile glow of her monitor as she repeats the mantra: "Thank you for calling, my name is Aya. How may I assist you today?" The only monsters she faces here are impatient Karens and the dread of a dropped call.

But when the sun sets over Pampanga and the clock strikes midnight, Hiraya's real shift begins. Armed with ancient charms, a surprising proficiency with improvised weaponry, and the sheer grit fueled by copious amounts of instant coffee, she transforms into a Sentinel-one of the city's few protectors against the creatures that crawl out of the neglected corners of the urban sprawl.

From vengeful manananggal lurking above high-rise condos, to mischievous tiyanak haunting abandoned construction sites, and the insidious presence of corporate-sponsored aswang, Hiraya battles to keep the delicate balance between the mundane and the monstrous.

Her greatest challenge? Juggling the adrenaline-pumping battles with the need to be cheerful and fully caffeinated for her 8 AM shift. When a high-stakes emergency involving a powerful, ancient engkanto threatens to expose the supernatural world and cost her perfect attendance record, Hiraya must choose which life she is truly meant to save-her job, or the world she protects when the calls stop coming.
