Behind Emerald Eyes

In the bustling city of Ninjago, two siblings lived on the fringes of society, isolated and burdened by a dark legacy. Years ago, a malevolent entity known as the Overlord threatened to consume their realm. In a desperate bid to save the world, the realm's creator waged a fierce war and ultimately imprisoned the Overlord on a remote island-where he swore he would one day return.

These siblings were the offspring of that very monster. Their mother died giving birth to the youngest, leaving the elder brother, Zero, to raise them both alone. Zero served as a palace guard, sworn to protect the royal family. Despite enduring grueling training, he was never fully accepted by his comrades, who viewed him with suspicion and disdain as the son of the Overlord.

Each day, Zero returned to their modest home, where his younger sister resided-a girl shrouded in mystery and danger. She had inherited their father's dark powers, a force so potent it even frightened Zero himself. After a city-wide incident that threatened to expose her abilities, Zero made the painful decision to send his sister away to a boarding school, hoping to shield her from the world's judgment.

There, she crossed paths with the son of Lord Garmadon, a meeting that would alter the course of both their destinies forever.
