Jason Beck never thought this would happen to him. He had a pretty good life after coming out as trans. he was a nerd, sure, but he was happy. going from the schools star mathlete and the champion of the local chess club, to discovering he has a chronic illness. then came the worst part. the symptoms of it are so severe, he has to stay in hospital until he works out how to adjust. and they're only going to worsen. that's when he meets Trent, an overly ecstatic and playful guy, with his own medical battles. as their bond grows, they learn to lean on each other as they navigate their lives.
