Chance is a beta that works as a spy at a spy agency, but after getting drunk and ending up on a one night stand with another unknown alpha, he finds himself getting morning sickness, so he decides to go to a hospital to hear about this issue-but instead of some common sickness. It was way way more different and extreme than he'd imagined. chance was hopeful but devastated by this news, his job was dangerous and not easy. he was emotionally prepared, but not mentally prepared enough for this, he tried many times to quit his gambling and drinking addictions to protect the small person inside, but still trying his best hiding it with a lot of hope.

He retires after 5 months to take care of the kid before going back-but years later, he comes back to the same agency. the child's father was just right in front of him. What a nice plot to start a story indeed, but that's not all-your just looking at the start of the story.
