The Locked Doors Remember

Six former high school overachievers-now burned-out professionals in their mid-thirties-drive up to a secluded mountain Airbnb called Casa Alta to finish a research proposal on heritage and adaptive reuse. The house is beautiful, old, and quiet... almost too quiet.

There are six bedrooms on the second floor. Six keys waiting in a basket. A cracked family portrait on the wall. Fog that curls around the terrace but never quite touches the house. The caretaker says they're the first guests in a long time.

On the first night, someone hears a key turning in the corridor.
On the second night, one door locks itself-and the person inside swears they weren't alone.

Trapped without signal in the middle of the mountains, the group begins to remember the classmate who vanished years ago, the retreat they never talk about, and the secrets they've built their adult lives around. Casa Alta knows what they did. And it hasn't forgiven them.
