The world of Honkai Impact 3rd is known for its beautiful Valkyries, deep lore, and absolutely crushing depression. It is a world where humanity fights a losing war against god-like entities known as Herrschers.

Timmy Noluck was just a loner who loved the game and wanted a happy ending for his favorite characters. But his life ended not with a bang, but with a thwack-killed by a stray rubber slipper while buying soy sauce for his mother.

When he wakes up, he isn't in heaven. He's in Nagazora City right as the Third Honkai Eruption begins.

He doesn't have a Divine Key. He doesn't have natural Honkai resistance. He doesn't even have a sword.

What he does have is a System that lets him upgrade items to god-tier levels, and the only weapon within reach: the dirty blue-and-white rubber slipper that killed him.
