Two years has passed since the attack that has left all of The Cieba reeling, but not more than Xalia Canek, who's now set on revenge. she's estranged herself from all her friends and even the bond with Amani her old- almost-flame, is broken. she can't even look at him without feeling angry.

she still has so much resentment towards Amani for not saving her best friend but keeping him at a distance wouldn't be well for the mission, so she slowly begins to allow herself to be friends with him again but she would be lying to herself by saying she doesn't still feel an undeniable pull towards him, that makes her nearly ill with guilt.
