But sometimes a guy can dream, right?
Before the name "Heartsteel" blazed across every stage and every poster, there was a group of seven hopelessly reckless idiots, seven souls with loud music and big dreams.
Among them was Y/N L/N, Ionian-born and Ionian-bred, a man who, on a reckless impulse, traded the comfort of a stable life as a shop worker for a half-baked dream his best friend had. One that might, if fate smiled... or if luck didn't completely hate them, finally make the world take notice of their talent.
Understandable, right? No... Yeah, I thought so too. But life has a way of reminding you that taking a shot sometimes means hitting a bullseye you didn't even see coming. In Y/N's case, that bullseye came in the form of hits and a certain shadowy ninja.
This is the story of a man navigating the chaos, drama, and madness of the music industry, walking alongside the most iconic boyband in all of Runeterra, and surviving (barely) to tell the tale.
Welcome to my first ever fanfic, since my lazy ass hadn't found the inspiration to write something until now. It will probably suck, you have been warned. But I'm confident my writing skills will evolve from this and maybe I'll create something more decent in the future. I hope you enjoy.
