Jade Kincaid, better known to late-night listeners as 'DJ Luxe', is a broadcast major from Alexandria with a crate-digger's ear and an old soul's taste. She's quiet in the way storms are quiet-controlled, intentional, impossible to ignore. By day she works at the local record store; by night she becomes the velvet voice behind WHUR's beloved 'Chill Suite'. She doesn't chase hype. She shapes culture. And she's never cared for campus celebrities, even one as untouchable as Rell Bennett.

But one unexpected encounter in a record store rewires something neither of them saw coming. Rell finds himself drawn to Jade's world of vinyl, slow jams, and unspoken truths. Jade finds herself thinking about the boy she told herself she had no reason to notice. And somewhere between late-night radio waves and early-morning practices, they start to hear each other in ways that feel dangerous.
