Elise is, or rather, was, a regular child, functioning under the strict regulations of the Order.
The Order is the governing power in her world, and uses their power to eradicate any source of rebellion. By placing restrictions on a child's right to communicate, they manage to silence the new generation. In their thirst for power, the Order executes Elise's parents for their rebellious tendencies, leaving Elise to a facility for troubled children, or a prison for possible future rebels. When she arrives, the facility is attacked. The attackers are the Opposers, an underground spy community, training the overlooked youth of the Order for the fight for freedom. Elise is rescued by a man, A.C, a leader of the Opposers. After living in the facilities and bases of the Opposers , Elise changes her name to December, and begins training with them. Due to her broken background, she never kept relationships with anyone, for fear they could be used against her. But things can change, lies can be told, and lives could be lead by lies.
