On June 13, 2026, the world ended. Not with a bang, but with a fever.

Lieutenant James Damesworth serves aboard USS West Virginia-an Ohio-class submarine carrying 24 nuclear warheads. Silent. Deadly. Forgotten. But when the ROES virus spreads across the globe in hours, that shield becomes a tomb.

ROES attacks the brain, rewiring the infected into shambling, aggressive creatures driven solely to feed. It spreads through the submarine's recycled air like wildfire. Within days, 127 of 155 crew members are dead or turned.

The survivors are 23 souls in 560 feet of steel, with 24 missiles in their tubes and no orders from a world that no longer exists.

Then a transmission from USS Alabama arrives: "...the CO gave the order... he launched the missiles... all of them..."

Now the question hangs over West Virginia: Should they do the same?
