Every night at exactly 12:00 a.m., someone knocks on her door.

When Mara moves into Block 17, she thinks the strange midnight knocks are just a neighbor's prank. Until the night she finally opens the door... and finds a small, rain-soaked diary lying on her doorstep.
Inside the diary are the final words of Amara, a girl who lived in the same apartment before mysteriously disappearing. Each page reveals secrets Mara was never supposed to know-secrets about the building, the neighbors, and a shadow that follows anyone who tries to uncover the truth.
But the deeper Mara reads, the more she begins to feel like she's being watched too.
And the midnight knocks don't stop.
They get louder. Closer. More desperate.
Now she must decide: Should she keep reading the diary... or escape Block 17 before she becomes the next missing girl?
