Red returns to his hometown after twelve years, burdened by trauma, anxiety, and the fear that he's no longer the boy Sayori once knew. Reuniting with her pulls him into the Literature Club, where the warmth of the members-and the act of writing-helps him slowly open up again. As he and Sayori reconnect, Red begins confronting the scars he's carried alone and rediscovering the hopeful, creative self he thought he'd lost.
