Blood [h.s]

Blood is warm.

If blood is cold, you're really fucking feverish or the person is dead.

It's only sticky after it coagulates.

It smells like iron, very metallic. Heavy blood loss has a really potent smell, someone will notice.

Unless in a state of shock or fight-flight mode, a person will know they're bleeding. Drowsiness, confusion, pale complexion, nausea, clumsiness, and memory loss are all symptoms.

Blood flow ebbs. Sometimes it can gush, other times it can trickle. Could be the same wound at different points.

When you lose blood, the sensation varies by person. Some don't even realize they've been wounded. Adrenaline is a common cause for that.

Others feel everything.

The warmth and the flushing sensation of the body's vital fluid washing you dry. Visions tunnels, your heart tachycardic.

You never think you would experience such a sensation until it happens to you.
