Regan Meadows is a journalist working for her divorced father at LifeNtimes magazine. Connor Grayson is a single successful entrepreneur that hates any type of news media. Regan's mother and Connor's grandmother sign each of them up for a cooking class that ends disastrously for both causing them to dislike each other.
Regan's father forces her to write a magazine expose on a successful business man that turns out to be Connor only he's not so cooperative due to some hidden family secrets he doesn't want made public. Her research of his family opens up old wounds and reveals avenging alliances putting her and her family in danger. Murder and mystery brings them closer together out of necessity or is it something else that's going on between them.
