A family of illusionists live in seclusion, bound by tradition and control. When the missing "black sheep" of the family returns with real magical abilties, the Marlowe siblings begin to demask the facade of their dynasty and a plan of overthrow is set in motion against their tyrannical matriarch. At the same time, a rival family of real-magic-practicing witches, rooted in blood and sacrifice, draw the two lineages into a dangerous collision of betrayal and power dynamics. As legacy fractures and loyalty shifts, inheritance becomes both a weapon and a curse.
