Beyond the quarantined ruins of Solvarine lies THE NEXUS-a flawless fortress of glass and white light, where seven gifted teenagers are told they are being prepared to save a fallen paradise. Trained, perfected, and monitored by S.T.R.A.N.D., they believe they are humanity's last hope against a spreading infection known only as The Weave.

Each of them carries a Pulse-Core, a device fused to their spine that stabilizes their extraordinary abilities. It keeps them powerful. It keeps them alive. And it ensures they are never truly free.
Outside the Safe Zones, Solvarine is no paradise-only ruins crawling with things that were once human. Inside, the truth is just as dangerous. As the Seven are deployed deeper into the wasteland, cracks begin to form in the story they've been told. The closer they get to answers, the louder the world hunts them.
