Humans are no longer at the top of the food chain. We have become the prey. In this world the dead have risen, and the living are dying. It is no longer a question of will you die, it is when will the time come? We are dropping like flies and there is nothing I can do to stop it. 

Dekota has been struggling through the apocalypse, but after coming across a small town when searching for supplies she meets a certain man wearing a hospital gown. She admires his determination to find his family, and with nothing to lose, joins him on his mission to find them. After helping Rick find his family, she goes against all of her rules by becoming attached to the group, and will do anything to help them survive, even if it means putting her life at risk.
