Just wanted to say real quick that I've actually had this story sitting in my drafts for about a year now, so that's why I'm able to upload parts pretty fast. Also,comments are very much appreciated, I love reading them <3

This is a Stranger Things fanfic centered around Jane (Eleven) and Maxine. The story takes place in 1989, and the party members are around 16-17 years old at the start.

This fic is mostly fluff, with a little bit of angst here and there -nothing super heavy. There will be spice and some smut later on, so just a heads up

The story starts in late summer break, before school begins. School will be part of the story eventually, just not right away.

This is a full AU:
-Jane has no powers
-The bad men don't exist
-The Upside Down doesn't exist

So basically... Hawkins is just Hawkins

The Jane x Max relationship is a slow burn that turns into something really sweet, healthy, and affectionate. And yes ,this story has a happy ending, so don't stress about that

Quick note: I changed the ages a bit, so if I accidentally say "junior year" anywhere, just know I mean senior year.

And yes, I know some of the characters might not act exactly like they do in the show - this is a fanfic and very much my AU, so please don't take it too seriously. Also some of the songs I use in this fanfic are songs that don't come out till like a few years later than the current year so don't mind that.
