SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE

In Medellin, Colombia's most dangerous neighborhood, The Giovanni family controls one of the biggest drug cartels in Latin America - full of money and fueled by crime. This is a crude and brutal story of a patriarch, Vito Giovanni, who has a son named Luca, and an adopted daughter of his sworn enemy whose family he has cruelly killed, Ava. Over the seasons, Ava goes from being a scared little girl to being the mastermind of a game between her and the man who ripped her world to shreds.
When Vito's paranoia leads him to target Ava, Luca is faced with an impossible choice. In a desperate bid to save Ava from Vito, he kills his father in cold blood, shattering the delicate balance of power within the family. Now the head of the empire, Ava seizes control, wielding her beauty and intelligence like weapons. But as Luca stands at her side, torn between love and guilt, he realizes that he's been nothing more than a pawn in Ava's master plan.
