Because of his extra chromosome, his first mate rejects him leaving the 27 year old devastated and heartbroken but soon after his father breaks the bond between him and first mate, the moon goddess grants him a second chance mate.
That's where AJ Castello comes in. He's a 28 year old male with tattoos all over his body from head to toe. His father kicked him out of the pack because of his preference to the same sex which leads to him running away from his former pack, The SilverClaw, but he didn't go on his own, his five loyal friends left with him. On his run, his wolf begins acting strange and takes them in the opposite direction they were going and upon entering a clearing they are met with the Alphas of the territory they crossed into, Beau and Derek Johnson, Alphas of MoonLit Oasis. The group exchange words before the Alphas led them toward their home, where the scent engulfs Aj once again and that's when he meets Ajax, his mate.
