I felt a knot in my stomach I couldn't untangle. I'd fought for him, argued with Kageyama, pushed the team to be better, and it still wasn't enough.
Karasuno had lost more than a spiker - we'd lost our spark, the fire that made our plays soar, the chaos that pushed us to our best.
I should have seen it coming. I should have held on harder.
But hindsight is a cruel teammate.
He's flying now, free. And all we have left is the echo of what could have been.
Karasuno's court feels emptier than ever.... now we truly are crows with clipped wings... and it was our fault.
