Lucy Yuuta and Ayden Ishida often spent time together, but it's not as if they had a choice. Their parents have been close since before they were born, so they found themselves at each other's houses often.
At first glance, you probably thought the pair would be perfect together. But apparently, the two were the only ones who didn't see that. Proximity wouldn't force them to like each other- over their dead bodies. Lucy found Ayden irritating, and Ayden thought that Lucy was just fake. Whatever that meant.
They're both now sophomores in high school, and just as fate would have it, they're in the majority of each other's classes. Teachers sigh every time they have to teach their period. They try to avoid conversation with each other, but at the chance that they do speak, they're just bickering.
Everyone labels their hatred for each other as "romantic," but they both know that wasn't the case. Whatever it was between them? Absolutely nothing of the sort.
