Necromancers of the River

Buffy Tione is the definition of strange and abnormal. She is the first wielder to have more then three abilities. After being attacked by Vampyres, she escapes the guard she was placed under and disappears. Now, a year, Tiro, her guard, has come to take her back to Silverleaf Academy.

Tiro Odysseus has been a guard for years, but never has he lost the person he was meant to guard. Buffy memorizes him in a way that's dangerous. His job is to protect her, not destroy her. But as the Vampyres get more and more bold, they have to work together to figure out why she's being targeted.

Vampyres are all around and Buffy doesn't know who to trust. Tiro is hiding a big secret from the world and if anyone finds out what is, he'll be killed.

In order to work together, they have to trust each other with the darkest parts of themselves. Can they, or will there be hell to pay from all directions?
