A sappy love story written by an inexperienced friend of mine. Read it anyways.
Kerri Leila's first day on summer break didn't really turn out as expected. You could say it was the worst day of her life. Yeah, that's right; three words: she got dumped. The real problem is, she was in love with him, but her wrongs pushed him away...or more accurately, pushed him away with her best friend. Kerri had never been cheated on, that is, until now.
But, she had no idea that the best was to come, and I mean the turning-your-life-around kind of thing. Erik Miller--a British exchange student--and Kerri share an unusual connection. On occasion, Kerri would have thoughts of a boy, but the thoughts were discarded. As they became more powerful, the connection between them would strengthen, pulling them together like two magnets until collision. But will they ever find each other? Is it even worth it?
