"What does a great author always do?" An eerie question for Bartholomew Kevler-a great author. "Tell a little lie," he mutters. What felt like the work of a creative mind may have been an unchecked reality. It is the story of a literary fiction writer haunted by a fragment of his past-one he is convinced was born solely from his own genius. He even wrote a novel drawn from this imagination, until the day a character from his fictional world crossed his path. Mr. Kevler is forced to question his work: was everything he knew a lie, or had it always been nothing more than pure imagination?
