Part 1: Nobody Can Save Me

Mike and Chester have been close for years, but their connection is messy, intense, and emotionally intertwined. Chester has been struggling with addiction quietly at first, pain killers, then stronger substances using them to cope with his depression, trauma and crushing expectations. Mike sees the signs ,but Chester is skilled at pretending he's fine, and Mike wants to believe him .Mike is the one who sees the cracks forming first. He tries to help caring, hovering, checking in, but Chester pushes him away. Chester's addiction worsens. His behavior becomes erratic disappearing , lying, getting angry drifting away from Mike. He hates himself for it but he also hates being watched. His relationship with Mike becomes strained and painful

The story tracks seven days of decline before the overdose each day darker than the last , showing each emotion reaction from the drugs (anger, happiness, sadness , etc) Chester spirals into self hatred and numbness trapped between wanting to live and wanting it all to stop

On the final day, Chester takes too much

He overdosed alone

Mike finds him

He calls for help

He doesn't know if Chester will survive
